Fudge Hair Chalks

You know I like to experiment with my hair and I do love a funky colour from time to time but I have been put off by recent dalliances as they’ve taken a little longer to fade than I’d like. Enter hair chalks. I’d heard of them of course and considered buying regular chalks as I know they have worked well for some however I just never got around to actually going out and buying any. When Fudge sent me a couple of theirs I couldn’t wait to try them but you see my hair all the time and so I have another head modelling them for you today, enter Stacey. I LOVE Staceys platinum crop (it would never suit me of course) it’s so edgy and cool but to soften it up she often adds crazy colours and in the below photo she’s sporting the red from Fudge Urban.

You can add the chalk in streaks, sections, all over the head.. wherever you like. You can add it to wet hair for a more vibrant effect. the possibilities are endless and there are 5 colours to play with.. I’ve even experimented with mixing them with some success. The one thing I was very interested to hear about was whether they washed out easily of Staceys bleached hair.. they were gone after only one wash. I’ve heard reports that they’ve stayed longer but I think it will depend on the condition of your hair, if it’s very damaged the colour might stick around.. let me know if you’ve experienced this yourself!

Fudge Urban Hair Chalks available online here for £5.99 each

If it washes out in one wash, what if you were wearing them and it rained?

These look good for a quick style update, although I think I would only be brave enough for the pink!

One wash sounds so much better than what we have both gone through (my orange is still there a little, which now makes me look like I have badly bleached hair!)

I’ve been reading through your blog and seeing a lot of PR Sample,

My question is .. Would you honestly of bought anything you were sent with your own money?

Just a general question is all.

That’s a tough one to answer because I’m usually sent products at launch so the first I hear of it I already have it – no time to consider whether I’d be excited enough to buy it off the shelf. That being said if I wasn’t a beauty blogger I would have a very modest collection of only things I was actually going to wear. At least 75% of the beauty products I buy are bought with a review in mind, I will often buy new things I don’t need just to see how/if it works. I will buy the exact same product from 5 different brands just to compare them. I’m not a regular consumer anymore.

I accept samples because it allows me to create daily content however as you will see as you read on the fact that it’s been sent to me has no bearing on my opinion. There’s little point to a review unless you’re going to be honest and 9/10 I will say if a product wasn’t one I’d have picked up had it not been sent to me. Sometimes I’m pleasantly surprised and others it’s as dull as I expected.

Some things I have received I REALLY wanted but I’m not sure what you want me to say – If you’re asking me if I’d have bought ‘anything’ I was sent then the answer is definitley yes but ‘everything’? no – that’s not to say I didn’t want it but I may already have something that does that job and for my own personal use I don’t need another HOWEVER it benefits my readers for me to try other options.
