George Creme Blush

26 September, 2014

IMG_2567I have spoken so much about these creme blushes online I was certain I’d already blogged about them but it would appear not.. so here goes. I am not a cream blush fan under normal circumstances there are very few that I like and in honesty these aren’t my FAVOURITE as they don’t settle to a powdery finish however they don’t really look shiny on the cheeks either so it’s not a major flaw. They’re SUPER bold and pigmented so a little goes a very long way but this means lots of blending which can often mean rubbing away the foundation underneath. They blend out nicely and for me again this is not a deal breaker but if you wear a very high coverage base or have imperfections you’re looking to cover on your cheeks these may not be for you.

IMG_2568IMG_2546As you can see you can definitely get a sheer finish as I did in this photo however if you want to see them in action and applied a little heavier you can watch my recent GRWM video here and get a better idea of the product and what I mean about the blending. I start talking about the blushes at around 12.23 if you want to skip to the relevant bit rather than watch me apply a full face of makeup

The shade selection is great and because they’re so bold I think they’d work just as well for darker skin tones too, especially that bright pink shade! The packaging is minimal and cute.. George definitely have me on packaging, it’s far superior to a lot of other budget brands but then I think that’s why they’re that bit more expensive than you’d expect from an Asda brand. Overall I’m happy to have these, I don’t usually hang on to cream blushes long past a review, I rehome them with friends who will use them more but I’ve kept my favourite colours as I really think I’ll reach for these.

Available online here for £3.00 each

I’m not much of a cream blush person either, but for £3 these look good. Thanks for the review 🙂

They looks pretty good considering the price of them. Might need to check them out.
