Gifts For Girls – Under £5

christmas gift guide girls under £5 budget cheap

Comb In Hair Colour – £3.00 / Waffle Slipper – £1.49 / Yankee Candle Wax Tart – 99p / Red Polka Dot Scarf – £2.99 / Elegant Touch Nail Stickers – £2.50 / Anatomicals Smacker In A Cracker Kissing Kit – £3.00 / Beauticology Mini Lip & Body Bath Set – £5.00 / Models Own Nail Polish – £5 each

Todays ‘gift guide’ is super low budget.. I actually considered breaking it down in to under £3 too as there were so many cute things I found on eBay for so little but I decided you’d probably be sick of these posts by now so I’d stick to the £5.

Standalone gift wise I really love the Anatomicals cracker and the Beauticology bath tub, they’re both small and inexpensive but self contained gifts so great for secret santa or those on a tight budget. The rest would make for great stocking fillers, I love the idea of putting together a little parcel of nail polish, lip gloss etc rather than buying a set because you’re thinking about the person when you’re choosing a colour for them.. it’s the extra thought that means the most when you have little to spend.

Ultimately we don’t have to spend a fortune it’s just ingrained in us that we should ‘treat’ our loved ones when in fact it should be more about the celebration than the gifts. As I get older and pretty much everything I want I buy for myself I care a lot less about the presents but I still love to give someone something I know they’ll like and that doesn’t mean a lot of money that just means a little more effort and thought!

How are you trying to save money this year?

    Great post!
I never buy pre made sets for people, like you say, it’s so much more thoughtful collecting all the little bits yourself, tailored just right to that person’s tastes.
I had actually totally forgotten about the Yankee tartlets this year, normally I put one in with my mum’s and sister’s presents – so thanks for the reminder!
Have been loving this series of posts 🙂

I always go out and buy or make gifts but that takes so much time money and effort but for the family I will do it. But this year I decided to buy online and for my 10 year old datuher it was perfect and not pricy at all.
