Is this just the cutest packaging you’ve ever seen? And it goes perfectly with my Christmas colour scheme.. score! Beautiful as this is as a gift I’ll admit I kept it for myself and I’m jolly glad I did. Can you believe I’ve never tried anything from Paul Mitchel before? Me either! Strength targeted haircare isn’t something I usually look for as I’m more about the aesthetic that the actually condition but I have seen a real improvement since using this. As always I don’t want to sing it’s praises ’til I’ve used it for a couple more weeks but so far so good and this is more of a gift suggestion that a review for now.
The set includes the Super Strong Daily Shampoo, the corresponding conditioner and a Super Strong Liquid Treatment which was possibly the most interesting to me. Unlike the moisture kicks I usually use these products don’t give me instant results and after the first use I wondered if they were doing anything at all but one week and 3 washes in I believe they are. I think (for me) ideally they should be alternated with something more nourishing and I’m considering this duo from the same range since my hair isn’t just weak it is dry from colour treatment and heat styling. Either way I’m very hopeful this is the first of many Paul Mitchell products in my hair’s future.
Perhaps the best thing I have to share with you is that this set is currently on offer at LookFantastic.com for just £17.50 (RRP £25.00) making it the same price as some of the duo sets.. bargain whether it’s for you or a gift!
