Hello lovelies! My name’s Gemma and I chat about beauty and everything in between on touchofbelle  today I am going to talk about one of my favourite subjects Bargain makeup! I cant afford to be spending £25 and over for something that wont last that long! So I love finding products that are great but don’t make a hole in your pocket!

I like to keep my base light but having a foundation or concealer that gives you a full coverage that lasts all day! My personal favourites are Maybelline dream matte mousse as its so easy to use but gives you a full even coverage without having to spend loads to get the look you want. For concealer I use collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer this has been such a lifesaver on so many occasions and its great you cant beat it for the price!

For my blusher  at the minute I am obsessed with Beauty UK blush and brush they do such lovely colours that suit and skin tone! They last really well while looking natural on my fair skin.  When I use a powder I normally use MUA pressed powder in shade 1 I cant fault this for the price its just so good!

For my every day mascara I use Natural Collection lash length mascara and for special events and going out I use Maybelline the volume express colossal mascara, onto eyeliner I use miss sporty mini me eyeliner I find this works really well and comes in a variety of shades.

Last but not least for lips I always use soap and glory A great kisser, it gives you a nice pink shimmer which Is especially nice for summer!

So there we have it my favourite drugstore products that are great all year round! What are your favourite drugstore and high street products? Or if you know about any products that you love let me know!

It’s true that just because you pay more for a mascara or blusher whatever doesn’t necessarily make it better. I truly believe lasting perfection is the best concealer I’ve ever used, so why should I pay more ? I do love a good high end foundation but day to day I love wearing high street make up!

    Much love, L 🙂

I am struggling with my skin at the moment, I used to be oily before I had my baby now its very dry foundations everything I have goes patchy. As for makeup bargains I love to see what I can find in Poundland stores.

I love the Beauty UK blushes too, but an accidental purchase by my husband when I was in hospital helped me find something even better from them. I had left my Accessorize brow kit at home (my favourite) and asked him to pop into Superdrug to get me another. He bought me the Beauty UK one by mistake so after some initial grumbling from me, I found out that it is better than the one I had been using! The wax is fantastic and the mid shade is perfect for my brows. Might try a few more things from their line as the two things I have have most certainly not disappointed in the least!
