I actually just bought the skeleton dress and a black wig for my costume so I will let you know when they arrive what the quality is like but together they were fairly inexpensive and will hopefully be comfortable. It’s not a specific costume as such so my makeup will likely be pale and spooky – video maybe – but any suggestions there are welcome! I know some of you will think a smoke machine is a mad idea but my parents go all out with their Halloween parties, they invested in one a couple of years ago and it seriously adds the spooky atmosphere.. this one is pretty cheap too but remember you will have to buy the liquid that goes in it too! I love the table wear you can get for Halloween now, the plates and glasses etc but it can add up if you’re having a big party. The punch bowl, the skeleton cooler and the bottle labels all give a big impact for much less overall.
All of this has a spooky feel which fits in with the decorations that my Dad will put up but if I was to have my own Halloween party.. maybe one day.. I would probably go more American like the below – *picture source* – I know it sounds pathetic but I’m not in to being scared.. I love decorating though so I would keep it fun rather than hide things that pop out and scream at people.. I’m a killjoy, I know.
What do you do for Halloween?
