Hello Hydration!

It’s early and I have 5 minutes before I have to run out the door but I wanted to dash off this post for you while I’m still glowing with excitement about this hair mask! I thought I’d used it before but in fact I’ve used 2 other variations, tousle me softly and smooth and soft but this was never in stock when I went to buy it. Now I know why! I know I’ve raved about other hair masks in the past and I always think I’ve found ‘the one’ but now I think I really have.. and it even smells amazing! It felt so nice even just applying it to my wet hair but when I’d rinsed and left it to dry I couldn’t believe how soft it felt. It’s completely frizz free (which has been a major problem of late) and it even has a hint of shine which you blondes out there will know is the holy grail of hair care when you’re on the lighter end of the spectrum. I’m just so so impressed with this stuff that I had to put out a gushing post of love in case I forget about it’s amazingness and move on to something new. Just a note: I would actually recommend all of the masks from Herbal Essences so pick the one you feel suits you best but for dry ends this is a miracle worker!

Available here for £4.39 (totally worth it) but shop around as it’s usually half price somewhere

I’ll have to give this one a try. I recently finished the macadamia oil one which I loved but am looking for a cheaper alternative. I tried the new John Freida Repair one but I think the normal conditioner from the range makes my hair feel better. It was really thin and runny and I would’ve thought a mask should be thicker than a conditioner?

Totally agree about the normal John Frieda Full Repair Conditioner being better than the intensive one! This sounds really good though, worth a try!

this stuff is so so god given how little you’d expect from it.. it’s basically what I would have thought the full repair would have done.. I don’t know how they’ve done it but it’s my budget product of the year lol

Tried to get hold of this today in my local Superdrug and they said it was discontinued. Oh no. Might be why it’s been so difficult to get hold of. Suggest you buy stocks when you see them.

I love anything Herbal Essence and can swear by the Hello Hydration products, because I’ve literally seen the plain old conditioner work wonders. My grandparents came from India with drying, brittle hair and ONE use of the conditioner made it silky soft. They love it so much, they took a bottle for India haha.

Havne’t tried any of their masks (haven’t noticed them much in the stores here, so I’ll have to look closer), but it’s definitely on my personal Christmas list. Thanks for the recommendation!

herbal essences gets a bad rap as it’s full of silicone’s which all of a sudden are bad for your hair. We’ve been using these products for years and years and now everyone is so organic and natural that these hair products we love are deemed ‘bad for your hair’. i get that they’re not doing anything deep down good but at the end of the day anyone reading or writing a beauty blog has an element of vanity in them and we pretty much just care about the aesthetic. Yes it’s nice to have a treatment really work but if it just appears to.. thats fine by me lol
