Holly Sharpe For M&S

How beautiful is this limited edition collection from M&S? Given that I don’t tend to shop there for clothes (food, yes but the makeup section isn’t exactly by the milk) I’d never really looked at their beauty section but it is hella pretty and not at all expensive.. very budget beauty friendly!

The packaging is all lovely, obviously it should be beautiful as it was designed by an illustrator but even the settings are basic yet don’t feel cheap – not high end but somewhere around the Revlon mark if we were comparing.

The lipstick is such a creamy formula, don’t let my horribly dry lips decieve you. More of a satin finish which I prefer as you’re less likely to smudge and it’s more long wearing that your average glossy lip product. The fuchsia colour is all-season for me but I know for many brights are reserved for the Spring/Summer so it’s a great choice for this collection.

But the pièce de résistance has to be this blush, does it not? The golden overlay is just too pretty for me to swatch the blush for you I’m afraid so we will just have to assume that it’s beautiful while I put in my drawer of makeup not to be used.

I’ve never thought to buy anything (cosmetics wise) from M & S but from what I’ve heard from others, it seems half decent!

I’ve never purchased any makeup from M&S but the blush looks too pretty to leave behind the next time I pop in for my food shop! Mind you, it’s pretty impressive if I’m not normally one to wear blush!

The blush looks really like a Paul and Joe cream blush I have! If it’s anything like it then you’re on to a winner.

I really recommend all of m and s makeup. Being 15 I’m really worried about it seeming granny-ish however I can’t fault the products. I have bought m and s products for about a year, the pigmentation, value and quality is that of a higher brand but the cost is so purse friendly!

I recommend the nail polishes, they last for weeks on my toes without a single chip and the colours are great!

    Great post! Love the blog!

As a blusher fanatic, this one is gorgeous. I have never bought any makeup from M&S, but I’m now tempted to nip in and have a look.
