How Do You Fragrance Your Home?

I’ve always been big on scented candles, I love burning candles in general but if they can generate a yummy smell on top.. uhh… yes please! The thing that’s always put me off reed diffusers is that you can’t alter the scent day by day, if you don’t like it you’re stuck with it and when I unwrapped this (gifted to me by Next) I wasn’t sure I’d use it. I’d already purchased the Milan scented Candle but it’s quite strong and very sweet, I wasn’t sure it was something I’d want to smell every single day. My solution was to put it in my hallway, It’s a nice scent to be greeted by when I get home and to leave in the house when I’m off to work but it doesn’t overpower the house. This specific fragrance I think would be a bit much in your main living space but that’s my personal preference, I would suggest Paris as a toned down alternative. The bottle is glass and could be reused if you wanted to purchase another fragrant oil once it runs dry but if the last one I had is anything to go by this will last a long time. It’s twice the price of the candle so not something I’d reach for given my penchant for lighting things on fire but it’s packaged beautifully and would make a lovely gift.

Available in Next stores and online here

You can also purchase the Christmas fragrance but I’d suggest the candle given that the diffuser will last well beyond the festive period!

Maybe an oil burner could be a good idea? It would be much cheaper than scented candles and you could change the fragrance up daily very easily! 🙂 xx
