OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAYes To Cucumbers face Wipes / Nivea Stress Protect Deodorant / Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask / Benefit It’s Potent Eye Cream / Gosh Prime & Refresh Eye Cream / Fem Fresh Wipes / Burts Bees Lip Balm / Macadamia Healing Oil / Weleda Sea Buckthorn Hand Cream / Caudalie Vinosource SOS Serum / This Works Deep Sleek Pillow Spray / Burberry Blush in Cameo / Clarins Instant Light Lip Balm in 02 / Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in light / MAC Brow Pencil in Fling / Skin79 Super+ BB Cream / Givenchy Phenomen-eyes Mascara

Seems like a lot and really I could cut out the makeup as I probably wont use it but it’s a 10 hour flight and you just never know. I want everything on hand to pamper in flight and refresh before we land and this is my little survival kit. A couple of things I’m considering swapping out before everything is finally packed today (last Friday – just to confuse) are the Burberry Blush, I love it but I’m concerned it could break and I just received a lovely travel friendly blush from Jouer in Blossom I think I might add instead and the deodorant – it’s glass.. why?? I bought it for the long wearing ‘stress’ claim but I think I’ll witch it for something lighter in weight. Otherwise it’s all essential.. honest.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI’ve packed it in this new supposedly flight safe bag I picked up from eBay but I hear it depends on the people working security as to whether they allow sealed bags like these rather than the plastic ones.. we’ll see! If you’re interested in the rest of my carry on contents you can find that post here and don’t forget to follow my YouTube channels for more travel beauty videos and vlogs of our Vegas Vacation – if you’re in to that kind of thing!

I’m travelling a lot, so I know how difficult it can be to pick just essentials.

I fly all the time from UK to Aus with clear bags like this and never had a problem. I always take this much on long haul flights – makes it a little bit more comfortable 🙂 Good recommendations, however those cucumber face wipes felt like acid on my very sensitive/dehydrated skin. Just a warning for those with similar skin types as myself. Have a good holiday 🙂

One thing I would add is a hand sanitiser, especially if you are going to be touching your face. Wilkinsons do a really nice scented one in a little bottle for a pound. Also, the best ‘stress ‘ deoderant/antiperspirant I have found is Mitchum, and they do a great light small plastic travel version for a couple of quid! You could also take some cheap cotton gloves to put on over your hand cream so you can still touch your electronics whilst deep conditioning your hands- the pound shops do a pack of two for a pound.Have a great holiday!

The last time I flew my makeup bag ended up putting my suitcase over the weight limit. I was a tad bit embarrassed. I now know I need to cut down to just the essentials- but it’s so hard!

Thank you for sharing, I’ve never flown before so this was really interesting to read.

It’s so difficult trying to minimise the amount of products to take in flight, this is a great little mix! xx

I never do much of a beauty routine whenever I am flying, but I definitely think it’s a good idea.

I dropped my Bobbi Brown shimmer brick and it smashed all over Boots’ floor in Heathrow on the way home from Vegas so be careful with that Burberry Blush! I would have been devastated anyway, but being tired and emotional after a 10 hour flight I was beyond distraught!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the Yes To Cucumber wipes!

It’s really interesting to see what people carry on in hand carry. Mine’s probably the same actually. I’ve seen the Clarins Lip Perfector spring up all over the place, so need to check this out – is it as good as bloggers say it is?

You can buy the same Nivea deodorant as a solid and then it’s also in plastic packaging. It’s what I use!

Those wipes look CUTE! Think I saw them in a Fleur video too! (checked her out after you were totally shocked that I didn’t know who she was at the Cosmo’s 😉

Unlike most women, I usually fly with very little makeup. Lip balms and a good hydrating face mist are what I like applying the most during a flight. I really want to try that pillow spray as I struggle to sleep on the plane. x

Have you tried Weleda’s Skin Food? It’s AMAZING! I sometimes use it on very dry patches on my face, but not all that often because it is fragranced, but it does work really well. I highly recommend Rose Hip oil (once you’re finished with the macadamia oil). It works on everything! You could use it in place of eye cream, moisturizer, serum, hair oil, and cuticle oil.
