Instant Party Tan

I’m an embrace the pale kinda gal.. I wear a lot of dark colours in winter and show as little flesh as possible.. I might be regressing to my teen goth phase come to think of it. That being said if I had an event to attend for which I was wearing a dress which was not wool tight appropriate I know exactly what I’d be reaching for to turn my pasty white legs a more acceptable shade of human – St Tropez Instant Tan. I don’t LOVE the regular St Tropez bronzers because generally they’re far too dark for me, I like a subtle glow. They apply brilliantly and I’ve never experienced streaks with their mousse.. once upon a time I loved the dark tan look and they were my brand of choice but these days I prefer Cocoa Brown because it’s quick, smells good and light in colour. Back from the tangent.. this instant tan is super easy to use,  I still use a mitt to avoid orange hands and it sets quickly and it relatively smudge proof. I’ve been out in the rain wearing this with no issues but I would suggest avoiding white clothing. Although it’s been pretty good thus far I wouldn’t want to tempt fate with the ultimate challenge. This can also be used on your face however I wouldn’t bother.. you’re likely to only be covering it up with makeup anyway.. it does work well mixed with foundation however so if you’re looking for a little liquid bronze in your routine this can definitely double up as that! When it comes to washing away I do a twice over with soap and a loofah to be on the safe side but I guess you don’t want it to be TOO easy to wash away or it wouldn’t really be living up to it’s water resistant claim, would it?

I’m actually yet to try the aerosol version so if any of you have tried it let us know how you got on?

Available online here (currently on offer) for £6.67 (RRP £10)

As I said I’m not a bit self tanner however my friend has agreed to come on board as my tanning blogger.. let me know how you’d feel about some guest blog from her as she can never be too dark and I’m trying to wean her off sunbeds altogether in 2014!

Anything that’s super easy and streakfree is the one for me since I’m rubbish at the whole self tanning thing, so might even ditch the pale skin and go a bit more tanned this X-mas :o). Xx

Being as pale as you are I would love to hear her thoughts on this, there are times like you say when you do need a little tan on the skin, I have always gone for spay tans when I need it but this could be less hassle than that!

Lovely review! I’ve been considering trying this for a while but was a little unsure whether it was worth all the hype, but again, it does sound like a good little tan product from your review. Might have to brave the sale shoppers and head into town! 🙂 x
