This was one of my birthday presents from Lee and I’ve been waiting to talk about it because I’m still not sure how I feel about it. I’m usually a fan of sweet scents but although this is fruity it’s definitely more mature. It’s crisp and fresh rather than the sickly varieties I own. My main gripe is that it doesn’t seem to last all that well on me, I know people say it’s a good thing if you can’t smell a perfume on yourself after a while but that’s just a sale girl line, right? I’m not a fan of super strong fragrances but I’d like to smell it for more than 5 minutes. I’m considering purchasing a complementary scent to go with this as Jo Malone recommend layering colognes for a more unique and deeper scent experience, I’m not sure if that would just then be wasting twice as much money and getting no more of an intense fragrance. I really want to love this and when first spritzed I really do like the contrast of this fresh scent compared to the heavier ones I usually choose but I think this may be a handbag perfume for me, one to top up throughout the day rather than something I can apply in the morning and forget about.
Have you tried anything from Jo Malone? I am sorely tempted by the Vanila & Anise, I think that’s more ‘me’ – available online here

i absolutely LOOOOVE Vanilla & Anise – it’s a very unique scent, and it’s lovely to combine with the Peony and Blush Suede too :o) Xx

I do like the White Jasmine & Mint which is rather enchanting
I really want to try a Jo Malone fragrance, I have only heard good things about how amazing they smell. I need to be rich! x
I’ve never tried Jo Malone but really love the packaging. Sadly no where near me stocks it and the nearest shop is about an hour away.

I found this didn’t last on me at all bit pomegranate noir stayed on the skin all day. I guess it’s just trial and error with them all? Xx
I am also a fan of sweet almost overwhelming scents (Viva La Juicy) but as of lately I have been seeking more of a fresh, flower scent and Jo Malone seems to be the perfect fit, I recently sampled Peony and Blush Suede fragrance and loved it. I hope the layering works for you because I also agree that a perfume should last hours.
No, I’ve never tried Jo Malone, it’s not that I haven’t wanted to but over here in New Zealand thing’s are triple the price of the UK for lovely brand’s like this. I wish I’d stocked up when I lived in the UK and bought thing’s over with me.
If I could try any Jo Malone product it’d be a candle as a first preference or then a diffuser, room spray and then a body perfume.
I’m sure I’ll get something from this brand one day but probably would have to wait until I can get it Duty Free or buy it cheaper in the USA.
