I’ve had this for a few weeks now and am about a quarter of the way through so I thought it was about time I gave you my first impressions. I’m not sure it’s done anything drastic in the way of diminishing the dark marks around my eyes but my skin has never been smoother. Reading the Kiehl’s site it appears that I may not see results until week 8 so I may have another month ahead of me before I’m jumping for joy but I’m still holding out hold for this to be the miracle worker I’ve been waiting for since so many others have raved about it.. fingers crossed. One thing I was concerned about was that it may cause me to break out, my skin isn’t prone to bad reactions and I try lots of different products all the time but a couple of you told me it had had that effect on you. Luckily I escaped that however and if anything I’d say this solution has warded off the evil pimples as I’ve seen far less than usual. Looking at the ingredients list this may be due to the inclusion of Salicylic Acid which I know works well for me when I’m looking to clear my skin.. it also contains Glycol which is in my beloved Soap & Glory Peaches & Clean and which again I know does work for me. I would recommend when considering any skincare purchase that promises to dramatically change your skin such as this that you always check out the ingredients. If you are sensitive this may not be for you, If what I’ve read is correct it was designed for the Asian market and ‘Activated C’ is something used to lighten the skin. This makes sense since we’re effectively trying to lighten dark marks but again this is something you may want to take in to consideration. I don’t think this is dangerous as it’s now marketed worldwide but I know there’s some controversy surrounding whitening products and their potential harm.
So.. so far so good but nothing life changing.. I would probably repurchase but I might try their midnight recovery complex first.. I may be a serum convert!
