Lacura Facial Cleansing Wipes

I posted last week about the Aldi skin care range that I was going to review and I thought I’d start it off with the cleansing wipes. I’m not a BIG face wipe person,  I like to cleanse ‘properly’ but I do appreciate having these around for eye makeup occasionally and of course.. travel! Since these landed on my doorstep I’ve actually really enjoyed using them, I have them on my desk and throughout the day I use them to freshen up when I’m make up free and wipe the day off when I’m not. They’re particularly nice as they’re designed for sensitive skin so they don’t irritate my eyes and they are a little textured so they really get in there and remove as much as they can before I use my use my cleanser and do my whole evening routine before bed.

As face wipes go I couldn’t ask for more and they’re only 89p here. I had no idea you could buy Aldi beauty online.. so many people have recommended products to me but because there’s no store nearby I never had chance to review them for you guys, now I know I can have them delivered you can expect to hear much more about Lacura, I’m all about budget beauty and I am more than interested in trying a foundation for £2.39!!

Annoyingly it would seem they show the products online but you can’t actually buy them (boo!!) but I will look for another way for those of you like me that have no store in the area!

My mum loves their foundation and it’s such a bargain price. I’m yet to try any of the aldi beauty range but for the prices you can hardly go wrong

I don’t go to Aldi but next time i go past one i’m stopping for a snoop around! Wasn’t there a blind test a while ago by some newspaper where their moisturiser/anti ageing cream beat some hugely expensive brands? However – I find the Lidl wipes do the job better than the Garnier ones i used to buy. I also like their skin toner for normal to combination skin. Their sun protection spray works well(4 days lying in 30°+ heat in France and no sunburn). And though it’s not my type of scent the Lidl “Suddenly” perfume which is supposed to be a dupe of Mademoiselle Dior doesn’t smell awful. Go Lidl! (God, I don’t know about “budget” but i’m definitely “cheap” :-D)

I have really sensitive/ dry skin and find it REALLY difficult to find skin products that don’t irritate my eyes, and I swear the Lacura make up wipes are among the best I’ve ever tried! Way better than some far more expensive ones. My mum uses the day and night creams as well, maybe you should give those a whirl x

It’s a really impressive brand given the price point x
