I’ve heard a lot about Q10 in various high street brand day and night creams over the last few years so it was only a matter of time before super budget brand Lacura jumped on the bandwagon and anything that’s tagged as ‘restorative’ has my attention so I was excited to give it a go.
As I have quite oily skin this really was too heavy to wear as a day cream for me. With products such as this I usually use them sparingly at night so as not to cause even more oil under my makeup but this one was just a little too much. Generally if you have oily/combination skin you don’t need a night cream, you can use your regular moisturiser and wear something a little heavier over any dry patched if you feel it’s needed, that’s what this has been most used for over the winter months but I can’t say it’s been a favourite. It’s purely down to skin type and I’m sure if you have dry skin you will love the thick nature of this formula but it’s not a one size fits all product and unfortunately it’s not for me.
I’ve tried a few things from this brand and on the whole I think they’re targeted for drier skins but i did very much like the ‘wrinkle stop’ which may not be doing anything to prevent my fine lines appearing but it’s quickly absorbed an wears well under makeup, much better for my skin than this was.
