Laura Mercier Bath Duet – Almond Coconut Milk

Well, it’s official. Laura Mercier make THE most beautiful bath products! I knew this but you don’t really KNOW until you get them home and boy do they look and feel every bit as luxurious as the price tag suggests they should. I picked this duet up in the boxing day sales and ordered another (larger set) from Space NK soon after which I’m still waiting on (grr) so expect a follow up on that. There were a few scents that caught my eye (nose?) but Almond Coconut was the most irresistible.. hence I didn’t. I believe (thought it was several weeks ago now) I ordered the second set in Vanilla to change things up a little but while sniffing in store I seem to remember thinking they smelled like apricot fromage frais.. anyone with me on that? I guess I’ll have to wait and see when they finally arrive.

Anyway.. I digress.. as usual. I opened these up and honestly didn’t know where to put them in my house (still don’t) – they’re so pretty and my bathroom just does NOT do them justice. I’m considering purpose built shelving. The set contains Bath Salts – which I’ve used and actually wasn’t so enamoured of but I assume you have to use quite a lot and I don’t want to, haha – and a body cream which is seriously divine. It makes my skin smell so yummy, if I were a millionair(ess) I slather it on morning at night. Sadly I am not and so they will be reserved for special occasions.. and ornamental purposes.

Currently out of stock online but they seem to get things back in the sale perhaps through returns or cancellations so keep an eye on it if you’re interested. This was £15.00 from £30.00

I love Laura Mercier! This one and the Creme de Pistache one are my faves. I didn’t manage to get this duo in the sale, but got the Creme Brulee one, which is lovely too. It’s a shame they are normally so very (very!) pricey! x

I tried the almond and coconut one and the smell lingers on your body for a few hours after you put it on unlike other body cremes certainly worth as a luxury item

My lovely friend in the UK got me both of the set’s you mentioned from Harrods in your video. I could’ve ordered direct from Harrods and had it shipped to New Zealand but the postage was a major factor in asking a friend to buy them for me, her postage price is way cheaper and so I can’t wait to receive them, my flat doesn’t have a bath so I’ll reserve the bath salts for luxury hotel stay’s on holiday. I think I got the Almond Milk set and probably the Coconut one, I’ll have to wait and see I didn’t mind the scent’s as long as I could get them both for £15 each and I did. I also asked my friend to get me a Yule Monty from S & G and she did, my friend is so thoughtful and I look forward to receiving these now that I’m back from 2 week’s holiday.
