Letters By Boe

Those of you who have followed my blog for a while will probably know that I love me a monogram. Anything with my name or initial and I’m all over it so I love this Alphabet necklace By Boe. I was sent this from a site called The Little Black Book Of Style which I’ve bought several items from over the years and I would highly recommend. The customer service is excellent and they stock a range of boutique brands that you wont necessarily find anywhere else, this is a great example. My first name actually begins with an M for those who may be confused but most people know me by my nickname, Khila.. begins with a K 😉

The M is great but the K is actually nicer I would say because it could serve as a symbol, it isn’t necessarily instantly recognisable as a letter and I like that, a little bit more mysterious, okay not mysterious maybe but less generic.

There are two versions of the necklace available, a smaller letter on a shorter chain – link – and the one I have, a longer, larger one – link –  If I didn’t already have shorter necklaces I wear on a regular basis (IE: never take off) I may prefer the smaller version but I like a necklace I can put on over my head and layer with what I’m already wearing. The fiddly little things I have to take off I’m not likely to ever put back on again but something like this is an easy addition my every day jewellery without having to think too much about it.

It’s sterling silver but also available in gold, again I prefer silver because it works with most of what I already wear but you have the option and you can shop her whole line here. I will definitely be looking up more of her stuff because this is really simple but unusual, not just the same pieces that everyone else is wearing and I like that.

It took me a while to realize that was the letter K! I kind of like that it’s not a generic looking letter, very unique! Would make a great gift!
