Little Purchases

IMG_6629

We took a trip to Meadowhall yesterday (standard Saturday) ahead of a visit to the cinema to see Monsters University (awesome btw) and I had just one thing on my list. I’ve suffered with pigmentation on my face since I was pregnant with Milo a couple of years ago, I have little bits of discolouration everywhere and old acne scarring but the most annoying for me are the dark marks around my eyes. I intend to do a full post on my skin this week with a view to fully reviewing this product by way of before and after photos but I thought I’d give a little background. I’ve heard a few rave reviews recently so decided to go for it and get the Kiehls Corrective Solution. It’s not cheap at £36 a bottle (30ml) but if it works it will be 100% worth it. I’ve tried a lot of products that claim to even out skin tone and reduce marks but nothing has made much of a dent yet so if this does I would absolutely repurchase it. If any of you have tried this I’d love to hear your thoughts. I also popped into TK Maxx and accidentally bought a new iPad case – similar here – but look how pretty! It’s silver! Lastly, although I used these candles as much for decoration as anything else they are also new from Next, they come in a set of 3 and are available online here for £10, I love anything mirrored and don’t they go nicely with the vases in the background I bought from H&M (no longer available) ? -love it!

What have you treated yourself to recently?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the Kiehl’s Corrective Solution since i’ve been very tempted to try it. I’m currently using this Triology Rosehip Oil which seems to be fading some of the acne scars I have, also Pepta Bright is also really good 🙂

I had my second child 4 months ago and his one round my pigmentation is horrific! I have a mask around my eyes am forehead and a full pigment moustache..it’s so confidence draining! I had some with first pregnancy but nothing like this. I’ve used the new templeSpa serum which at £40 did nothing! And ReGen cream on advice of Zoella which at £3 was a lot cheaper but no better!
I’m currently using darphin meal perfect foundation to cover it slightly so would be really interested to see how you get on with this!! If I wasn’t too mortified I’d post a pic to let you see how bad mine is! ❤

Ooh can you do a review on the kiehls corrective solution once you’ve been using it for a while please? I have looked at it and wondered if it would do anything for red marks/acne scarring from when I was a teenager-I’m now 26 so it has faded slightly but I would love for it to go away so I don’t feel I have to wear fuller coverage foundation all the time! x

I’ve been seriously considering the kiehls corrective serum! I’d love to know how it works for you! I’m currently using rose hip oil which really helps to reduce hyperpigmentation. It takes a while to work though.
