As I mentioned earlier in the week I will be comparing these L’Oreal stains with the new Maybelline version next week so look out for that on Monday! I bought a couple of shades from this range but have only one swatch to share today, if you’d like to see the other let me know but I thought I’d showcase the brightest and review them as a package as they work in exactly the same way. First of all they are unlike any other lip product I’ve tried. They’re made up mainly of oil and water and have a sticky finish which gives the glossy appearance. This finish remains pretty much all day long, it doesn’t settle in to dry areas and the picture below was taken several hours after application and the bleeding is minimal for a bright colour. Overall it wears really well and could easily last all day, I think the brighter shades are better examples of this range so if you’re going to pick up only one I would suggest you go dramatic rather than safe. I have pretty dry lips most of the time and until now have never found a stain that I really, truly liked (the Revlon Balms aren’t really the same thing) so my endorsement is a big deal, 2 thumbs up!
