Love Me Beauty – March

I am so impressed by this months Love Me Beauty box, I don’t blog them all (in fact not many at all) but this one I felt deserved praise. It’s consistently my favourite of the bunch and that’s probably at least in part because I get to choose the selection of products I think I’d like most ahead of time. It’s still a little surprise when the box arrives because I just take a glance at what stands out to me but I usually have no idea what each item will look like and you never know which of the bunch will be sample/full size.

*What’s In The Box*

Blanx White Shock 15ml sample (£4.99 for 50ml)

Always interested in trying anything that claims to whiten my teeth and since I got this box just before I left to go on holiday a sample sized toothpaste was very welcome. You may recall the ads for this that claim the more you smile the whiter your teeth will be.. we shall see!

Murad Sheer Lustre Day Moisturiser 7.5ml sample (£64 for 50ml)

I wasn’t super excited about this one but I’m trying to branch out in to less matte finishes, my oily skin has been scared of anything that has ‘dewy’ in the description so this is a good product to trial. That being said I cannot believe how expensive the full size product is, I doubt I would be it no matter how amazing it might be.

Quintessentially English No. 6 English Rose Bath Salts 50g sample (£4.25 for 100g)

I love me some bath salts so this was a nice addition HOWEVER I’m not a fan of rose scented products.. why must EVERYTHING be rose??? I blame Cath Kidston for making florals trendy again, it’s definitely her fault somehow. I’ll try these and hope they’re not as strong as I fear.

The Vintage Cosmetic Company Gracie False Lashes (£6)

I recently put in an order with The Vintage Cosmetic company for lashes bizarrely and got one of each that they sell so I already have a pair of these. Stranger still I NEVER wear falsies but I figured if I had a few pairs in ‘stock’ I may reach for them more often.. hasn’t happened yet but you’ll be the first to know when I start.

Nip + Fab CC Eye Fix in light full size (£9.99)

I saved my favourites til last, I have yet to find a Nip & Fab product I don’t like so I’m really excited to try this. It looks to be their version of the under eye highlighter most brands have now but the difference here is that it’s a colour corrector. I have no idea how much coverage it will offer but I’m very interested to see how it holds up on my lighter makeup days.

Deep Steep Honeydew Spearmint Moisture Stick 15g full size (£4.95)

According to my ‘menu’ this should have been Lavender and Chamomile but I am so glad it’s not. This smells completely amazing and I would not have said that about the Lavender. It’s a citrusy, sweet and fresh.. really delicious, reminds me  little of those lemonade ice lollys you can get. I’ve used it as a lip balm so far and really like it.. if that’s how you intend to use it a stick this size will last you an age but it’s multipurpose and can be used on anything from head to toe.
