Low Heels In London

If you watch my vlogs you will already know what I was doing in London however if you do not then watch this space, I will be posting about that very special event on Thursday! Anyway, on to the outfit. It may look familiar, I wore something similar in a recent outfit post but forgive me.. I’m obsessed with thie blazer. It’s a little big but i find it difficult to find a really well fitting blazer as I’m petite but wide with zero curves and this is a casual style so I think it looks okay a little over-sized. I last wore it with inky blue jeans and they really did make the whole thing look a little suit-ish whereas this paler washed pair are PERFECT.. in fact it’s not often I say this but I love this outfit. It’s comfortable but smart and the heels are totally walkable in – what do you mean that’s not a word?

The heels are really what I want to talk about here since nothing else is new. I have always been a kitten heel snob and these are a little taller than baby cat sized so I think I can be forgiven.. I still don’t like those but there is a time and a place for a low heel, I’ve accepted it. I  think with a dress I would still be pretty against these because a lower heel is not flattering on my leg (I don’t know about you but seriously.. no) however in jeans or trousers that’s not a major issue and they give that sleek look you don’t get with flats but you aren’t in agony by midday. I walked around London, hopping on and off tubes and getting very lost in these and my feet did no punish me for it, they were so easy to wear that I may have to buy a back up!! I know they’re not for everyone and believe me a week or so ago I’d be right there with you but hear me out.. try them, just with a pair of jeans.. you may start to feel differently!

What could be better than style and comfort in one?! Lovely outfit and awesome shoes! It’s great that they’re so comfy because I find that even flat shoes can be pretty uncomfortable sometimes, especially when they’re new! xx

this outfit is totally flattering on you and if you love it wear it more often! just by more of these items in different colours similar styles. the nyou can still rock a style that suits without wearing same items of clothing! after my poo poo at your heels I found myself invited to a wedding in april and at 19 weeks pregnant I’m not wearing the platform skyscrapers I usually love, I’m going for a mid heel, extra wide court shoe. I agree kitten with a dress is a no no, but these mids heels are great and so NICE to walk in as they don’t push the weight onto your toes. I think weight distribution is key in comfy heels prob why yours are so comfy! But I do love a good consealed platform wedge bootie!

I’ve never been able to walk in high heels, 3 inches is more my speed. I actually do wear them with dresses though, black tights with black heels, you can’t go wrong. But maybe that’s because all my dresses are knee length, I think if you were wearing one of those really short ones you’d need skyscraper heels.
