LUSH Christmas Haul

IMG_3874 2I really only visit LUSH at Christmas time to see their new festive offerings.. of course I usually pick up some others bits and pieces while I’m there (posts to come) and come out with a further wish list I may or may not fulfill before year end. This time I was fairly restrained.. there are SO many to choose from but most are packed with glitter which while pretty is super impractical so I stuck to the ones I could use without needing a second bath afterwards.

Clockwise – The Melting Snowman – £2.25 / Cinders – £2.50 / Dashing Santa – £2.95 / Butterbear – £1.95

IMG_3883 2IMG_3880 2HOW CUTE IS THE MELTING SNOWMAN?! For reals. I’ve had Cinders in past years so I know what to expect there.. spicy scent.. fizz bang etc .. Butter Bear is the only one I’ve used from this years haul and as I suspected it’s near identical (if not identical) to Butterball which is one of my favourites. I’m not generally a fan of bath bombs, they’re over priced (I picked the cheap ones) but Butterball actually leaves my skin feeling nicer so I don’t feel SO much like it’s a waste of cash. The other Christmassy ones are a just to get me in the spirit really.. Apparently you have to sit in the bath for half an hour or something to get the benefits of the essential oils etc and I just don’t have that kind of sitting around time so I’m just not the target market but they’re cute all the same and make bath time a litte more festive.

LUSH is an incredible brand and their ethical policies are really up there with the best around. Of course, they’re products are awesome too but yes, they are a tad pricey and yes, that does tend to put me off shopping there too often! Their seasonal ranges are always lovely though and it provides a great reason to pop in and pick up a few bits every now and then 😉

Butterball is also one of my year round favourites, so I’ll definately be picking up a Butter Bear this year. I do a huge Lush haul a few weeks before Christmas and it usually lasts me till about March!
