Those of you that have been a follower of mine for a while may be surprised to see a LUSH haul of any sort appear on my blog. I’m not as huge a  fan as everyone else seems to be. I get that their products are natural and all that jazz but really.. it’s all a bit expensive for what it is in my opinion and I already have way too many hair and body products that I love.. I don’t need to be branching out in to stuff that goes off.. or so I thought. You may have seen my epic ‘what’s in my cupboard‘ video where I took you on a little tour of my hair and body supplies (like a little borrower) and explained that I was going to use it all up before I bought any more.. hmm! I have actually done really well and this is the first thing I’ve bought that would fall in to that category for a while PLUS I did clear half of my stash thanks to ‘all used up‘ videos and what can I say? I was fed up last week and wanted to treat myself! I had heard a lot about the Catastrophe Cosmetic Mask which is full of anti-oxidants and supposedly ideal for skin that is having a hard time and needs to ‘relax’ so I had to try that.. I also needed one of the solid perfumes of course. I got the 1000 Kisses because the saleswoman told me it was the biggest seller. In truth I bought it on impulse and am not super enamoured of the spicy fragrance but it’s fairly long lasting, perfect for travel and I would definitely go back when I have more time to pick a scent that’s a bit more me. I am going to start a new series this week where I review my various face masks.. rather originally I will be calling it ‘face mask friday’ so if you have any you’d love me to review let me know but this little LUSH number will be first on the chopping block! One thing I would like to mention for all of you LUSH noobs like me is that like with MAC cosmetics you can take 5 empties back to LUSH and receive a free face mask so really it would be rude not to buy another 4 before I make my final decision on them, right?

Anywho.. you can look forward to my first face mask friday later in this week, I’d also love your suggestions for the next LUSH mask I should try!

Both available here for £5.95 for the mask and £3.95 for the solid perfume

Yay! Face mask Friday! I am looking forward to this as I’m sooo looking for face masks the peel, pull & scrub the dirt away. The kind you actually see the dirt sucked out of your pores, that also restore vitamins.
