I’ve been putting off using this little guy for a couple of reasons, 1. he’s just so darn cute, 2. I wanted to take photos and it was never convenient and 3. I assumed that much like the butterball he would leave an oily residue so I wouldn’t be able to wash my hair/shave my legs so I had to wait until I could actually RELAX in the tub.. which is never. One of my very smart viewers suggested I do my ‘jobs’ in the bath and THEN pop in the bath bomb.. freakin genius! So I tried that last night and it worked well although once I’ve washed my hair and shaved my legs I’m kind of bored of being in the bath so I only sat in it for 5 minutes but I guess it’s better than nothing. It was very much like Butterball which is why I chose the little guy in the first place and although the oil that melts in to the bath makes general tasks impossible these are the only 2 bath bombs I actually like to use, they DO something, my skin feels softer and I don’t need to moisturise when I get out.. £2.50 well spent in my opinion. If you like a colourful bath water then the regular Butterball is probably a bit boring for you but this one leave a pink hue while retaining all of the benefits of it’s predecessor. The fizz in itself is not very exciting but as we’ve discussed at length I’m not about the spectacle.. if you’re looking for a treat for the kids I’d recommend Golden Wonder but if you’re looking for a treat for your skin… THIS!!
I’m not sure I’ll be buying another bath bomb anytime soon.. I still have the Butterball left and as I’ve said I really did want to try some more but I just can’t get excited about blue water and glitter in my bath. I think I’ll try one of their melts next.. any suggestions?
