MAC Palette Collection & Swatches

At the end of last year I was so OVER beauty blogging so this year I tried to switch things up and blog about other things but wouldn't you know, I missed it! maybe absence really does make the heart grow fonder because I'm throwing myself back in to beauty with a good old fashioned swatch-fest! I did a 'makeup shake-up' video yesterday and decided to finally put my new 6 shadow compact from MAC to use and when selecting my shadows I realised I must have at least doubled my collection since I last did a post on them (4 years ago I discovered before writing this up) so I thought I'd do an update.The last set are are in my 'Spring' palette and I am TOTALLY sold on the 6 shadow compact, a quad just isn't enough!! Hopefully this gives you a push to dig out some of your old favourites or is helpful if you're trying to put together your first palette. The palettes start at £4 (for the duo) and the inserts are £10 - you save £3.50 a time buying them in the pan rather than the individual pots so although they're pricey you do save long-term and I just can't resist anything that allows me to customise! *** As luck would have it Debenhams actually have 10% off beauty right now, including MAC so if there was ever a time to start ;)
