Makeup Revolution – The New MUA?

Screen Shot 2014-04-12 at 20.02.21

I’ve been seeing tweets and instagrams flash up all week about this brand and I DID take a look at their site and almost place an order but when I saw yesterday that Superdrug had launched the brand online I caved. The lipsticks start from just £1 and the palettes (which are dead ringers for Urban Decays Naked range so I hear) are £4.. I ordered a couple of each as well as a mineral blush I’m hoping will dupe my newly beloved Stereo Rose from MAC – expect posts on my haul soon!

It looks to be priced at a similar point to MUA products which is awesome cause there are so few super affordable brands that are actually worth buying and from what I’ve seen so far this could definitely give them a run for their money.. very exciting budget beauty blogging times, folks!

Available online here, what do you have you eye on? Have you already bought anything?

I have seen so m much about this brand lately, the palettes are tempting me if they’re deemed to be so good dupes. Can’t wait to see your haul.

I bought the acid brights palette and although some of the shades are pigmented some aren’t and you really need to build them. A review will be coming soon on my blog. Love the lipsticks though.

I didn’t realise this brand had launched in Superdrug now. I was tempted to buy one of those £4 palettes a few weeks ago, but didn’t bother. Now they’re available in Superdrug though, I’m really tempted!

There are so many things I would like from the brand, not only do those eyeshadows look fantastic so do the foundations and they have some amazing deals at the moment. Time to go shopping!

I placed a massive order on here. Bought three blushes – the mineral blush is gorgeous and leaves a lovely sheen on the cheeks. The normal blush is also lovely for £1. The lipsticks are slightly greasy upon first putting them on but after a few minutes it goes away – they’re super pigmented. I also got two of the palettes and they are lovely for the money, quite similar to MUA 🙂

I’m yet to find a Naked 3 dupe (all in one palette). MUA and ELF have been slow off the mark. I’m definitely going to give it a try. Please do a first impressions and review on your purchases.

I recently tried some of these products and they are FAB for what you pay… I tried the mineralized blush and eyeshadow… Lovely pigmentation and colour pay off, also tried the lipsticks which are surrounded by the argan oil balm( cant remember the name) but it is lovely and also the eyeshadow primer and waterproof liquid liner… Both very good 🙂

I have just placed quite a few things today from Superdrug I ordered the Iconic 1,2,3 Palettes and they have a shimmer Palette too which I wanted to try, I’m loving shimmers at the moment. I got a couple of blush’s and a lipstick and an eye primer. Super excited to try these out as I have heard good things about them. I love MUA so I’m looking forward to comparing them :-). I thought that MUA and Make Up revolution were connected the packaging looks so similar. I will be doing reviews on my you tube channel.
