Maybelline Color Tattoo in Pomegranate

How has it taken me SO long to buy this? I love these cranberry shades for eyes and lips in the Autumn/Winter so you’d think this would be top of my list but somehow it slipped through the net for a whole year.. whaa? I finally have it now though and I can already tell it will be a firm favourite, I love the Color Tattoos fro Maybelline, they’re easily as good if not better than MAC’s Paint Pots I just wish they came in more colours.

Pomegranate is a nice opaque deep red with a golden glitter running through which is evenly distributed when applied and I’ve experienced no fall out.. perfect! They can crease on me so I do wear a primer but I know some use these creams as a base for another shadow.. which group do you fall in to?

Packaging is basic but I’m a fan of the glass jars and it’s very reminiscent of the far more expensive MAC equivalent. The Colour Tattoos are one of the rare product ranges that I just cannot fault, here’s to more of them! *note* I’m not excited about the newly launched (in the US) pigments from this line cause pigmemts are messy.. just in case you were wondering.

I recently bought a couple of these Colour Tattoos. I’m not blown away by the pomegranate one though, it’s a lovely colour but I feel like mine applies a bit funny. It’s not a smooth, easy process like I hoped!

I love these! I have “Bad to the Bronze” and “Tough as Taupe” – they are great for lazy days… I also hear that the “Barely Branded” shade is a dupe for Mac’s Bare Study paint pot.

I was a bit concerned that this colour would make it look a bit like you have a sore eye but actually the metallic shimmer makes it wearable

They crease on me too but its not a huge issue as I use primer all the time anyway. I was worried I wouldn’t wear this colour as red eyeshadow is usually just not a good look but because its so dark shimmery it actually looks nice on me. They apparently have 20 colours in the US but we only have about half of those here and most of them aren’t very wearable. I hate it when companies do that 🙁

Wow that’s a lovely color!!! I love those shades as well for fall/winter (in fact I wore an eye-makeup in those shades for Christmas last year!) and I definitely want to try this one out!!

I also loved your nail polish! Could you maybe let me know which brand/color it is?

    Have a great day!

I love these too. Find them on par with Benefit cream shadows, but so much better value.

I also love your nail varnish in the photo there, could you tell me what it is please?
