Miners Matte Factor – Budge Proof Pout!

i have made no secret of my love for these little tubes of colour in the past, raving about them in multiple favourites videos over the past year. They’ve received little love elsewhere and there are still so many people that are unaware of this purse friendly brand so I feel it’s my duty to spread the word. They are similar to the Collection 2000 Cream Puffs and the NYX Lip Creams so if you can’t get your hands on these and would rather not buy online then I would suggest those as alternatives but I haven’t tried either myself so can’t realy compare. The Miners Matte Factors apply like a gloss with a wand but they set to a matte finish and do not budge. If I had an occasion where I wanted a lip colour but I knew I wouln’t have chance to check it for wear or reapply I would reach for these which is why I thought I would add them in to my mini Valentines series as they’re so appropriate. I’d like to say they’re kiss proof!

My favourite shades are Peach (right) and Warm red (left), I have used the peach colour so much I can’t believe there’s anything left in the tube but it’s still going strong. What I love about that one is that even after a full day when inevitably you do see wear it fades evenly and just seems to blend in with my natural lip colour. The brighter shades I would be more careful with and if we were talking hours and hours I would probably touch up but if you’re looking for something that will last you this Valentines Day without constantly checking your reflection then one of these would be my pick.

They are matte formulas so inevitably they will cling to any areas of dryness, priming your lips prior would be a good idea but with the brighter shades it’s less noticeable and red seems to be the order of the day for Valentines, right?

Available for £3.99 online here, Miners is also stocked at a lot of pharmacies and some House Of Fraser outlets so check their site to see if there’s a stand near you!

Definitely should have invested in these rather than the Rimmel Apocalips. Bought two today and rather than being budge proof like these, they’re all over the place. Not a good look when they’re mega pigmented! These are next on my ‘to buy’ list 🙂
