Monday, Monday #3 (On A Tuesday #1)

I have a feeling that this wont be my only Monday, Monday on a Tuesday but in fairness I had major internet difficulties yesterday (as in I didn’t have any) so it wasn’t that I forgot much as I was so frustrated that I had no choice but to play Sims during Milo’s nap time rather than blog as I usually would. Luckily I have been super duper productive over the past couple of weeks so I could just sack it off now until I come back from my jolly’s but I like to stay ahead of myself so I wont. Yesterdays break really has crept in to today too however.. I feel like the holiday mode that my husband has been talking about for a month has finally found me and I seriously just want to lay around doing nothing.. not like me at all – yeah right. Tonight I’m off to have drinks and dinner with some friends and hopefully get an idea of what they want me to bring back for them (they’re both beauty bloggers too) but also just get out of the house. As I said I’ve been really busy lately to ensure I could take some time off for my holiday and I feel like I haven’t taken time to socialise in ages so tonight will be very welcome.

Other than packing (which appears to be taking much longer than the weekend I assigned to it) I really haven’t had much on this week so far so I thought I’d share my final Sephora shopping list. It’s all of the items I’ll be prioritising before making any ‘ooh that looks nice’ purchases. I am considering doing something similar for the drugstore but I can’t seem to find one that sells everything I want so I think it will have to be a bit mix and match. I also discovered that MAC seems to be a chunk cheaper over there so I’m hoping they’ll accept my pro card so I can get 25% off already cheaper prices – that will be too good to resist. I’m pretty sure I can use it worldwide cause it was shipped from Canada but if you know different let me know.JIMM-WZ9_V2

As always any shopping suggestions are welcome. I have a mad moment where I convinced myself I needed a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes a few days ago and in my head they were cheap because they were several hundreds of dollars less than the Rockie bag I already plan to buy.. seriously. Needless to say I shook out of it but am now on the hunt for something similar to these Jimmy Choo Anouks. I have the most beautiful pair of faux suede pumps from Primark but they’ve stretched out to the point of ridiculous and I’m desperate to get a higher quality version that will last me longer as I wore those more than any other heels for sure. So anyone who knows where I can get something similar, please let me know. It’s all about the shape so nothing with too low a heel.

That’s it for this week. My inner shopaholic is going wild at the moment so next week when I’m in the city of splurge you can only expect more of the same 😉

Can’t wait to see your holiday haul on your return. Also, why do the American products all sound so delicious…tarte, fresh, brown sugar…yum =D

Try boohoo for the shoes, the Chloe pointed courts are fairly similar 🙂

Whistles do some shoes that are almost exactly the same as those Louboutins. Have a lovely holiday – I was in NY in November for a week, but didn’t get to do half as much shopping as I would have liked! Chris Noth (Mr Big from SATC) owns an Italian restaurant (Da Marino) near Times Sq which is so worth a visit if you get the chance: the atmosphere is incredible and on some nights they have live music – you’re given maracas and can join it at will!

Sephora is a dangerous place! I always end up with too many products in my cart and more than half of the time is used to decide what to remove from my cart!

Kurt geiger have a couple of suede stiletto pumps. I’m after a pair myself! They’re still around the £200 pound mark but still significantly cheaper than louboutins haha xx
