Morphe X Jaclyn Hill Armed & Gorgeous Eyeshadow Palette

20 September, 2019

I was so excited to hear that Morphe was coming to Boots and my first thought was, BRUSHES!!! but when it came to placing my order, it was palettes that caught my eye. I picked up a day-to-day neutral (that I’ll talk about later) but this beauty from the collab with Jaclyn Hill was too pretty to leave behind.

I don’t ‘do’ a lot of colour of my eyes these days but this is so my colour palette. deep ochres, warm metallics and khaki? YES PLEASE! They swatch beautifully and blend reasonably well but to get real bang for your buck you really do need a primer. I tried a couple of looks (very quick and, again, our of practice so don’t judge them by my skills) and I know this is going to be my go-to this coming season when I’m looking for colour in my comfort zone.

Again, staying power is very much dependant on a primer but at this price point I’m happy with that. In fact, while we’re on the subject, what’s your favourite eye primer right now? I’m coming to the end of mine and would like to try something different.

You can buy the Morphe X Jaclyn Hill Armed & Gorgeous Eyeshadow Palette from BOOTS (yay for points) online for just £15.00

PS. I’ve never seen a Jaclyn Hill video

Have you avoided JH videos or just never been drawn to watching them?

I was going to get the naked honey then realised this is more versatile!!! Deffo needs a primer though & the foils can go hard pan quickly…. the purple one of these is rubbish but the darker moody green one is beautiful too xxx
