I’m back with another MUA review.. I’ve been trying more and more from the brand after a bit of a hiatus from MUA and everything I try makes me kick myself for not buying more. The blushes really are great quality and if you’re looking to expand your collection I’d suggest you head to their counter first – Fashionista are also great and very affordable – link
Candyfloss doesn’t sound like a blush I’d usually choose to wear but as you can see both on the pan and from the swatch below it’s not the pale barbie pink the name might suggest.. it’s a little deeper than that and the very subtle shimmer which might put you off doesn’t really translate on the skin. I am NOT a lover of glittery cheeks (ooh, weird stripper visual there) and I assure you there is nothing more than a slight glow with this blush. It’s not one I will be using a tremendous amount in the current season but I am pleased to have it in my collection for Spring/Summer when I’m not feeling the heavier colours.
As with all MUA blushes I’ve tried thus far the colour payoff is good, they’re blendable if you’ve gone a little OTT and look like as Russian Doll and the uber compact packaging makes them great for your on the go makeup bag as well as travel.
One last note – the last time I reviewed a blush someone took exception to the fact I hadn’t included a picture of myself wearing it.. unfortunately given the volume of posts I write it’s just not possible to photograph myself wearing every single product and blush in particular is a tricky one. I can apply and remove several lipsticks in one day.. blush is a one time deal unless I want to totally reapply my makeup so I hope you don’t mind my hand swatches and written review.. I will include picture when possible but I’d rather get the review up than not.

I’ve been trying to get hold of more MUA blushes but they’re always sold out here. I might just order a few online since I know they’re all good haha.
The color of this is beautiful! Too bad I can’t buy this in the States 🙁
MUA do international shipping and quite often also run promotions with free international shipping or quite large discounts. Check out their website & maybe find them on Facebook as that is where they usually announce promo codes & deals!

I don’t see how a hand swatch is vastly difference to a face swatch, it’s still showing the true colour against your skin isn’t it? You can’t please everybody 🙂 Great review though, I’ve had a few MUA duds recently and been put off but the blushes are amazing, I should get myself some more

I have the one called Bubble Gum and I love it! I definitely need to get this shade as well. But every time I go to the drugstore I only find MUA’s cream blushes.. shame because I don’t really like them. xx

Wow! Love this blush! I brought myself a few bits and pieces last time you reviewed MUA, and I must say that I’m a total convert!!
Will definitely be adding this to my collection!
