MUA Blush – Lolly

We all love something for £1, don’t we? The MUA Blushes are probably in my Top 10 things you can buy with that kind of money and I’m sure I’m not alone in wishing I had them all.. in fact I’m probably in the minority of those who don’t at that price. When MUA first launched I bought A LOT of their products and bit by bit they’ve gone AWOL so between that and their total redesign and launch of their professional line I felt like I needed to stock back up on some of the essentials and after many recommendations from you.. this is one of them.

I’m big on peachy blushes but this is leaning on the pinker side so it’s unlike the truer peach shades I already own. It’s completely matte which is unusual to find at the drugstore because for some reason shimmer seems to be easier to formulate.. do you not think sometimes that cheap brand take a product that could be half decent and then just think ‘screw it, GLITTER!!!!’ drives me nuts. So yeah.. matte.. good. The pay off is also very good but not so much so that a heavy handed gal like myself ends up with babushka cheeks. The packaging has changed and seems to be sturdier than before, basic but far improved so that’s another thumbs up.. all in all a good product for an amazing price.

I bought a couple of other blushes at the same time as this so expect more chit chat on those to come but if you have a particular favourite leave a comment as I’m planning on buying more.

Out of that range Bon Bon and Candyfloss are my my complete favourites and I honestly think they hold their own with some blushes more than ten times the price. I use a fixing spray after and they are fantastic. Looking forwards to which other ones you review x

Having only discovered MUA recently I have now bought a huge chunk of their range and have been telling all my family/friends about it. I have Candyfloss and Lolly. They are both lovely everyday shades and really do last ALL day at work. Also for just £1 how can you complain?

I love the MUA blushes and because everyone else does I only got my hands on three. I have Lolly, Cup cake and Candyfloss. I have been using their cream blushes a lot at the moment but I need to get back into the powers! Xx

For £1 you can’t really go wrong! I love a matte blush, also being one who detests too much glitter on my face, so these are right up my street! I will definitely be picking one (or 10, for that price) up next time I’m in Superdrug!

I’m terribly blush-shy and have only just started experimenting with them, this looks SO amazing, the colour looks gorgeous and I can’t believe it’s only £1!!!

I have five of the six shades of these and Lolly is, definitely, one of my favourites. Despite being an MUA fan since very early in their lifespan I wasn’t much into blushes at that time so I never got any of the old style, Big fan of the new ones, though

I have been looking at these but they seem quite bright, and that just would look awful on me. Love this shade though, like you I much prefer peachy blushes.

I love this blush, though mine is a cream formula, very similar to Benefit Coralista but without the glitter. are there any other must haves from MUA you can think of, I am considering the Naked Palette Dupe.

I would recommend undressed but not the second undress me too (i think that’s what it’s called) the lipsticks are also nice and the intense lipglosses are awesome x
