MUA Blush Perfection – Scrummy

This is one of my favourite purchases of MANY recently and it only cost £2! I had another cream blush from MUA in I want to say Dolly? But maybe Polly? I get confused because of the nursery rhyme I think. Anyway I loved that and wanted to try a more season appropriate (read: not peach) shade so I picked this up and it’s perfect – as the name suggests.

It’s coming off more coral in these photos than it really is, it’s more of a muted raspberry shade in person and the perfect pop of pink for the Autumn Winter as it’s got that depth that most of my other blushes lack. I might have to do a whole post on my favourite cold weather blushes actually.. I’m sure I’m not the only one who switches them out when the seasons change.

My favourite thing about the blush perfections has to be the formula, I’m not a cream blush fan per se but they are just creamy enough to blend while setting to an almost powder finish for a more natural flush rather than vaseline cheeks. I have one from MAC that I love in theory but the shiny finish is just too much for this already oily skinned gal to take, these are just right and I would absolutely recommend you give them a go. At £2 you’re barely taking a hit even if you hate it so there’s little risk involved but they really are great so I can’t imagine you’ll hate them.

I’ve neglected MUA of late and after my recent haul I’m remembering why I loved them when they first launched. The range can be hit and miss but 80% is very good and the prices are so great that I think we can all accept the other 20. I’m dying to get my hands on some of the matte lipsticks now, what are your favourites from MUA?

I had one of these in my basket earlier but I took it out last minute and brought the MUA Mosaic Blush instead – I feel slightly silly! I’m definitely looking out for one of these when I go to a store though 🙂 xx

I bought a MUA cream blush the other day and I like it but I struggle to open it! Am I being ridiculous? Is there a trick to it?

I’d be quite happy to see a post about blushes. I’ve not really used many and I don’t want to risk buying rubbish ones and being even more put off so some suggestions would be handy.

The matte lipsticks are great. Get ‘wild berry’ it’s such a nice autumn shade. It’s not as dark as it looks in the package either x

I’ve never tried a cream blush if I’m honest, I think I’ve always thought I can’t because I’ve got oily skin, but if this dries to a matte I will definitely be giving this a try 🙂 xx

Do you think you can review the Max Factor Whipped Creme Foundation. I’ve heard lots and would love to hear your thoughts on it since we have similar skin types! Love your video and blog post! xx

I’m not sure, I’ve never tried anything from the brand but I have had a few requests for this

“Scrummy” and “Dolly” are my favourite two MUA cream blushes. I find them easily as good as other significantly more expensive drugstore brands!

Definitely their cream blushers and power pouts! They’re my new easy go-to makeup staples 😀 especially the power pouts. They look amazing, glides on like a dream, and has an amazing staying power. Have you tried those?
