After the shambles that was the Undress Your Skin concealer (read that review here) I wasn’t holding out much hope for this one but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It doesn’t have a great deal of coverage but it’s light and suitable for both under eyes and any redness/blemishes. It’s not too thick and creamy so it wont settle in to lines or drier areas, I wouldn’t go as far as to say it’s hydrating but it doesn’t make anything look worse which is fairly important in a base product. The applicator is fairly standard and packaging basic but I’m more interested in the product than how it looks or feels on the outside so that’s no deal breaker for me.
The only real negative to this product is that it comes in only 3 shades which are all pretty fair but designed for different undertones. Although that’s going to be a minus it’s not unusual for a budget brand to cater only to paler skintones and it doesn’t come much cheaper than MUA so I will allow it that failing. I just wish that given the popularity of the brand MUA would take on what must be a great deal of feedback and launch some options for darker skin but I guess that (rather ridiculously) that’s still a niche at the drugstore.
