MUA Pro-Brow Kit

Since my hair is darker now I have been reaching for my brow powders again as they’re so quick and easy and can look a lot more natural than darker pencils. This is another MUA product I’ve had waiting in the wings but given that none of the shades were really useable for me when I was very light blonde I didn’t feel I could really review it.. now I can. As always with these little kits I haven’t touched the wax, my brows are light and sparse, in need of no taming whatsoever. I totally understand it’s purpose but it has none for me. As brow powders go these are nice, they have good staying power and if you have mid to dark brunette hair you’ll get use out of this but anything lighter and you may want to look elsewhere, I don’t know why it’s so tough for companies to produce a good fair brow product but it’s like the holy grail so if you have found a great one please share in the comments. I like that this kit comes with a mini tweezer, great for travel but the brush is pretty useless. Overall it’s average but average for £3.50 is very good when you consider I’m including brands such as MAC & Urban Decay in there.

I’m so glad to have seen this post. I’ve seen a review of this before and really wanted one but i’ve never seen it sold on the Superdrug website or in store. I may be way behind the times on this one but I had no idea MUA had their own site!!

Probably not a good idea I’ve found out just a few weeks before Christmas though. Oops haha 🙂

Apparantly that shade next to the gel is the ‘highlight’ colour, but its a horrible muddy brown when swatched :O The only MUA product I have EVER been disappointed by. Have you seen that they are bringing out brushes?! 😀 x
