MUA Professional Eyes Primer

First off I’m not 100% sure whether the link I have for this is this or something else. I can’t see anything with this packaging online but both say new so I’m assuming they’re the same but bear that in mind. So many readers/viewers have recommended I try this but it’s taken me an absolute age to get around to it .. which is why I’ll be so mad if you can’t actually buy this now lol. Anyway I’ve finally tried it so I can tell you what I think.

It has that creamy texture I like in the Urban Decay Primer Potion so already it’s beating Rimmel’s silicone formula (yeugh) but it’s still not as good. In this case it’s a little too wet for me and my shadow does still crease  when wearing this as a base. It’s better than not using anything but it’s not a contender for replacing me UDPP which is really what I’m looking for. Although I’m a ‘budget’ blogger it’s important that something does the job you buy it for and it’s pointless me telling you that this that and the other are as good as something else if I genuinely believe that more expensive product is better value long term because it does it’s job. I happen to have found a good dupe for UDPP since but you’ll have to wait for that review (next week) .. unfortunately this isn’t it.. but good try!

Available online here for £2.50

I love this as a daily eye primer because I can’t wear eye makeup without one and the primer potion is just so expensive to use everyday! 🙁 xxx

mine lasts me so long that I’d still but UDPP however I’ve now found something just as good so unless I was desperate I wouldn’t anymore lol

Can’t wait for the dupe! I’ve tried this one when I had no money at all and couldn’t afford to repurchase the too faced one. I liked it but as soon as I got paid, I went to buy the high end one!

it will be up on Friday I think
There’s not much point in buying drugstore for the sake of it if the product is no good.. false economy ultimately

I don’t like the silicone texture of the Rimmel eye primer either! It makes my eyelids feel so greasy, this MUA one sounds nice though, probably better for people who are just starting to wear makeup x

I’m looking forward to hearing about what your UDPP dupe is! I love UDPP but it’s obviously quite expensive so I’d love to find a cheaper alternative.

it’s still decent value for money when you consider cost per wear and how great it is but I think I’ve found something just as good for 10% of the price

Their original formula eye primer has just been repackaged, that’s the product you’ll be seeing on the website, it is the same product though 🙂

Eagerly awaiting the UDPP dupe MissBB. I have oily eyelids and so far Urban Decay is the only primer that works.
