Multi-Masking Monday

MULTI MASKINGI am such a lover of face masks and although I long retired my Face Mask Friday posts I have been toying with some kind of reboot recently to share the hits and misses as I find them - enter Multi-Mask Monday!MULTI MASKINGIf you're as in to skin treats as I am one mask is never enough and I regularly use two in one day, not quite multi-masking as we know it now but effectively the same thing. I had given up on LUSH masks for a while, having seen little benefit and not entirely enjoying the texture or fragrance of most but Don't Look At Me was just too '80's Sleepover' to resist. Unfortunately, aside from the exfoliation on application and removal I didn't see much benefit from this one.. not even enough to be saved by the funky colour for a possible repurchase. An expensive face scrub, if you ask me.MULTI MASKINGNecta Perfecta (from Bee Good) however was a winner. When this arrived I didn't think much of it, I wasn't excited to use it but on a whim I gave it a whirl.. AH-MAZ-ING! It's a balm that melts on contact with warm skin, not unlike a cleanser but a little thicker than any I've used. It's dubbed as the ultimate multi-tasker, use it as a mask, on dry skin, all over your body, on your SCALP.. the list is endless - well, not really, maybe your feet and that's it. I apply a thick layer before I jump in the shower or the bath and use a hot (as I can stand) flannel to remove it after 10-20minutes. My skin feels clean but nourished, amazing when it's looking dull or feeling dry. Pretty pricey but used as I do it should last a while and it's one of those few products I feel is actually worth the splurge. I also read that it's good for fake tan prep and with my holiday looming and my skin practically translucent I am going to be polishing my very rusty tanning skills over the next week or so.. I will keep you posted!
