My Travel Makeup Bag

It’s safe to say that as I write this I am pretty darn excited about my upcoming trip but by the time you read it I’ll have been back for more than a week.. the craziness that is scheduled posts, eh? To ensure that I would have some breathing space over my holiday and just after getting back I went a bit mad and over-prepared so this was the first slot available to show you what I took with me.. I’ll also be sharing what I took in my toiletries bag in a couple of days too so those interested in hair/skin care keep an eye out for that!

The makeup bag I’m using was a Christmas gift and is unfortunately no longer available but you can buy the brushes individually.. just not in this pretty rose gold colour. I’d definitely recommend the kit if it ever comes back though!

I’m going to be taking a few lip products in my hand luggage but I don’t expect that I’ll want to wear much more that lip balm so I haven’t really focused on them. I will absolutely have to take my tinted Lanolips because they serve both purpose of colour and care and my MAC New York Apple lipstick just well.. because. I think I did pretty well keeping my makeup to a minimum and as a result I have (or had as you read this) tons of space in my case for shopping, hehe.

This is the perfect little make-up bag! Perfect for travelling! So disappointing that its not available any more. I really need to find a nice sized travel make-up case

I can’t believe how much you’ve managed to slim down your travel make up – I always have a panic and throw in 52 more eyeshadows and 2 lipsticks just in case. Props to you lady!

(hope your holiday was awesome – I plan to catch up on YouTube during my next 2 hour bath marathon)

Great post I love seeing peoples makeup bags! I love ones with a bit for bruses as it saves so much room I managed to get my hands on the Paul & Joe one!

That make up bag looks so small and neat. Defo great for freeing up some space in your suit case x

it’s so pretty, I love it but yeah real shame it was ltd edition

I agree with the other comments that this is very organised. I’m terrible at travelling light and end up throwing so much makeup into my bag that I never end up using it all!

Do you know what, I didn’t even use it all.. I don’t think I wore eyeshadow the whole trip and I only used the sleek face form

I love this post, I travel a lot and I always find these super helpful!

I too love the bag (what a surprise!) and was wondering if you could maybe do a post on make up bags/storage/organising for when your travelling, a few suggestions on similar bags would be greatly appreciates!

I always love your travel posts and your blog in general!
