Neutrogena T/Gel

IMG_5415

First of all did you know that Neutrogena made T/Gel? I didn’t! I was aware of the product, my husband has bought it in the past but I had no idea it who made it.. random. Secondly did you know that they now make a dry hair variety? no? Well you do now! When I was asked if I’d like to review this shampoo I was suffering from a seriously flaky scalp so it couldn’t have come at a better time and let me tell you, it cleared up within just two washes, colour me impressed! I also received the kind for greasy hair which I think would work really well as a weekly clarifying shampoo, it would strip your hair of any product build up while keeping any dandruff at bag – smart! I’ve since used both bottles up (with the help from my husband) and we both agree we would repurchase if the flakes come back, it’s better than any other treatment we’ve tried and it’s inexpensive. When he used to buy it my husband had me believe it was a high end treat for him, I guess £4.99 is expensive shampoo for a boy – if only he knew.

I’ve tried their tar shampoo for sensitive/sore scalps. It smells REVOLTING but it absolutely works and I would thoroughly recommend it. I used it because my scalp just became sore and sensitive all a sudden, this shampoo sorted it right out and I would go straight back to it if I ever had the problem again.

I used to use this when I was a teenager and I had some strange soap/shampoo allergy going on. Such a blast from the past.

I like the sound of the greasy hair one, my hair sucks up product like no tomorrow! And its nice to see it isn’t a hideous burnt orange colour that I remember from my youth, but tell me this, does it still smell as bad? I used to hate the smell! x

I swear by this shampoo as well for when I get pesky flakes (often when I switch shampoos to something that is too drying on my scalp/immediately after colouring my hair) – its THE best for sorting out horrible dandruff!
