NEW! 17 On The Spot Foundation

I thought I would let you know I am trialling a new product which launches next month. On The Spot from 17 is a full coverage foundation designed for those with blemish prone skin. It contains salicylic acid which helps to clear breakouts while covering them up.. Great if it works! As luck (or not) would have it I am suffering some major issues this week so it’s the perfect time to trial this.

My first impressions : there’s not much time to blend and you have to work quickly before it sets on the skin but this leaves a nice satin finish. The coverage is good and it’s potentially buildable but it will be better suited to oilier skins as it did cling to my drier areas a little. It lasts well but I have to powder frequently, my tzone was shiny within an hour. Lastly the colour was good, I believe I have the lightest shade (porcelain) but anyone paler than me (MAC NC15 for reference) may not find a match with this.

I will continue to use this for the four week trial period and update you on my feelings as I go but so far I like it.. There are just a few niggles but I may find a work around.. Stay tuned!

Love the hair color on you! The foundation looks like it has very nice coverage and the color match is very good. 🙂 wish I was in the uk so I could try this foundation.

I have tried this and wasnt that impressed. It transferred easily, took a lot of blending and looked oily. I also think it was the cause of many breakouts on my face too 🙁 Hopefully it works better for you!
