New Hair!

I brightened up my ombre and I love it. I actually didn’t lighten my ends the last time I did the graduated blonde, I was already blonde and darkened my roots for a lower maintenance colour but I have been longing to go blonder for a while and so this is what I did. For reference the below picture is my ‘before’..

I know you can’t really see my ends there but it’s the most recent picture that is what I consider to be a true representation of the colour. To lighten the ends I used Feria’s Extreme Platinum Power.. I once used this to do my own roots and accidentally went white blonde. It wasn’t a good look for me but it showed me how powerful this stuff could be for the future and so rather than reaching for a regular pre-lightener I went with this. It claims (and I’d agree) to lighten your hair by up to 8 shades and in my experience there are no brassy tones so if you have been considering platinum blonde or even DIY highlights I would definitely recommend this!

I love the ombre look, it gives me the blonde feeling without having to worry about roots so trend or not I think I’ll be dabbling with it for years to come

Hi, this looks great! I need to dye my hair so will give this a go! Is it very easy to use? I’d like to try it but am a bit worried about doing it to myself!

If you get chance I’d love it if you could have a look at my baking and beauty blog at

This looks so nice! I really want to do ombre on my hair again but because my hair is quite dark I always worry that it’ll go orange-y but I’m tempted to give this one a go because it’s the exact colour I want! xx

Love it! I’m tempted to chop my hair and ombre it too, I just love the look of short, ombred hair!
Love your Christmassy blog too, you inspired me to Christmas-ify mine too haha x

I worked with L’oreal recently and they said this hair colour was their favourite out of the whole range. They said it had been so well recommended that the team that developed it had been requested to make the same for different brands, I have used it myself and it does work very well (turning your roots white showed that!)

I love the Ombre look, I currently have blonde hair with orange ends (as done by L’oreal)
