New Look / Pure Colour

I get a lot of requests for product reviews, as much as I'd like to I can't accomodate everyone one it's not always possible but if enough of you ask for the same thing I have to listen. I had an overwhelming number of messages about the new beauty range from New Look. I don't shop there much and hadn't heard anything about it so I doubt I would have picked anything up otherwise but I am SO glad I did because it is just so good. I never expect much from highstreet makeup brands, a lot of the time they're jumping on a bandwagon but the packaging here is simple yet high end and the quality is so surprising from a fashion chain. There are peaks and troughs, not everything can be 'the best' but on the whole I was really impressed and there was nothing majorly disappointing. Price wise it's comparable to Rimmel/Maybelline but if you put these products in blind packaging I think you'd be hard pressed to guess they weren't more expensive!
