New Series #StyleAtAnySize

style at any size

This has been in the works for a little while now but this week everything came together for Emma and I to finally get our little series started so I thought it was about time I told you all about it. Given that we are 2 very different shapes and sizes we thought it would be a nice idea to feature different trends for these different shapes and show that your size shouldn’t dictate your style. We all have our insecurities and of course we wont necessarily wear an outfit in the same way but we want to show you that nothing is off limits, you just need to know how to wear it. We initially thought we would attempt to recreate celebrity styles and I still like that idea so from time to time we may work that in but for the most part we will be wearing similar if not identical items styled in different ways. We’re aiming to get one of these posts up every week and currently have plans for it to run for 10 weeks however if it proves popular we may run it a little longer. We’re lucky to have several brands on board who’s collections in most cases range from size 10 to size 20+ including Next and Simply Be so we will be able to show you how the styles really compare in different sizes.

I’m really excited about this little project, we have so many ideas but if there are any particular trends you would like to see us attempt or looks to recreate you can let us know either in the comments here or using the hashtag #styleatanysize – you can also follow Emma’s blog here, we will be sharing both looks on each blog week by week but it’s worth following for additional pictures and more from her.

The series will start in April

What a great idea! I’m a size 14/16 and feel that I can’t wear loads of styles because of my big bum and hips.

Im so excited to see you guys do this, as a bigger girl I see so many stylish outfits on slimmer ladies and wish I could wear something similar so I think this is a brilliant idea. I often feel wearing white can make me look even bigger so would love it if you guys did a white outfit thats wearable on a larger shape woman.

Love this idea!! I hate the cliche that curvy girls have to dress in all a-line skirts and the like – so boring, I want to wear the trends that skinny girls can just differently!! x

    This is a great idea!
