I was relatively good in the January sales and tried to choose things I’d either been lusting after for a while or I’d have paid full price for.. this was neither. I bought a sweater from Wildfox (on ASOS – sale here) which wasn’t what I was expecting so I sent it back and looked elsewhere for a replacement – totally does NOT count against my no buy because I returned something, right? So anyway, I previously bought THIS top from Zoe Karssen in the sale (can’t find one on offer to link but if you know of one feel free to leave a comment) so when I spotted a ZK sale on The Outnet I was all over it. I can’t say the quality is worth the inflated full RRP (much like Wildfox) but on offer they’re funky tees/sweats that are really well made, this was 40% off and for that I’d recommend it. It’s sweatshirt material, a little thinner than the average but it’s fleecy and comfortable on the inside so great for the colder weather. I love the baseball style and although the colour way may not be the most flattering on my top heavy body I like it and when I’m looking for comfort but still want style I’ll throw this on with a pair of jeans.. as I did today.
I’m actually dying of flu in bed right now, not so much New York but I’m making the most of my down time and blogging.. as you do. You may be wondering what I did to my hair, you can read about that in this post. I used the Lee Stafford shampoo again but this time put it on my hair dry and left it for an hour for a bolder effect. It washes out to a great white blonde tone but for a minute I have a lavender tint and it quenches my thirst to do something mad to my hair with zero commitment and no worry of my stylist telling me off at my next appointment. I’m tempted to try something a little more permanent, I just received some samples of a new dye called Quif that I’m thinking of experimenting with so expect to see some random streaks in my hair soon.. wish me luck!
