No7 Lift & Luminate #ShareTheFeeling

So a couple of weeks ago you may remember I was in London for the day, well I was there to meet The Fabulous Seven? Who are the Fab Seven you ask? They’re seven bloggers from seven countries in which the Lift & Illuminate Range just launched. They’re effectively brand ambassadors and came together to share their own countries beauty secrets and spread the good No7 word.. and we got to chit chat with them.. pretty cool. You can read about their time in London and the whole Fab Seven deal here for more info on that.. but we’re gonna talk product next.

I didn’t want to review the product until I’d tried it for at least a couple of weeks and now I feel like I can give at least a good first impression. Skincare is tricky ’cause you never know how long it’s going to take to make a difference and especially with an eye cream.. I kind of see that as long term care at the tender age of 27. Give me 10 years and I’ll be looking for instant results but for now I’m happy just ‘knowing’ it’s preventing.. it doesn’t need to be all bells and whistles. Serums however you do expect to see visible improvement and I think at least with the evening version of this I do. I’m not sure about lift – but then I’m not sure how much lift there is to do – but my skin looks brighter and feels smoother after using this for a fortnight. I’d say it took around 3 or 4 days to notice a difference but difference there was and I have spent big money on similar products that have done nothing at all so this gets a thumbs up from me. The day serum is new to me cause I usually apply a light moisturiser at most and unlike the night one you don’t just leave it to do its stuff, it’s layered up with makeup so.. I don’t know if I’d buy this but I’d definitely repurchase the evening version. If you’ve tried it let me know what you think.. I really should make more effort with my morning routine, it’s practically none existent as it is so it wouldn’t be difficult but I’m very interested to here from those of you who maintain better practices!

I’ll leave you with a few pictures from the day, it was so much fun and it was lovely to meet other bloggers from around the world… that’s the best thing about events such as this, I just wish I got to more of them – New Years Resolution note to self!

some great pictures 🙂 I had read about this on Debbie’s blog (from Beautyscene.nl) on this trip (dutch reader here). So strange to see you both in one room haha.

Looks like it was a fun day

I’ve been using the night cream and I like it. I’m 33 and not really noticing wrinkles in places other than a few fines ones under the eyes. I like the product because it isn’t too greasy and the smell is mild. I have found the kiehls abyssine eye cream works on my under eye lines wonderfully. Unfortunately it isn’t too affordable for a stay at home mom 🙁
