I know I am not the only candle addict out there and as soon as the Autumn/Winter season hit and the US YouTubers started parading their Winter Bath & Bodyworks hauls I was bereft. What I would give for a supermarket sweep style dash around a B&B store right now. I have a wishlist as long as my arm but rather than spend crazy money of eBay shipping the US mega-brand to me I decided to look closer to home for my festive fragrance. I already have 3 of the regular scented candles from the current Next range so when I spied this Christmas themed doozie on my recent trip to the nearby outlet store I had to have it. It has noted of cinnamon, cloves and vanilla but if I take a whiff of the cloves in my spice rack that’s the main scent I get when burning this. It’s warm and wintery without being too sweet or foodie. I struggle to find Christmas scents I like as they seem so overloaded with Fern or Cinammon but this is the perfect balance for me.

Available at Next stores nationwide or online here for £9

I’m loving candles too with the long dark nights. I spied some lovely candles in Boots recently. They were in the Christmas section (therefore 3 for 2!) and they smelled divine! They had 6 or 7 scents..was very tempted so gonna splash some advantage card points on those I think! Just thought you might wanna check those out x

Oh this sounds nice and I like how it looks, the little bit of red just makes it look really festive.

Also just spotted your updated illustration do-dar on your header…. LOVE it! It’s just amazing. Like a book cover illustration!

This sounds lovely, I will definitely need to go give it a smell! I am the same I don’t like Christmas scents that are over powered with cinnammon.
