I’m sure you’ve seen a few dozen swatches of this polish this month already given that it was a freebie in the current issue of Marie Claire but I couldn’t resist sharing it. I’ve only tried one other shade by Ciate, Kitten Heels that was in one of the many beauty boxes I used to subscribe to and I just wasn’t that impressed. It was a red with a kind of golden pearl finish and it just wasn’t really me. I’ve never been a big fan of frosty/shimmery finishes but in jelly bean it’s completely different. It’s a gorgeous bubblegum pink with an almost iridescent blue in the right light. The shimmer isn’t so much that it looks frosty but it adds a dimension that is unlike anything else I have – and that’s saying something.. my collection is obscene. It’s fast become my favourite polish, I’ve already repainted twice and have no intention of switching up when it chips again. On that note it’s not terribly hard wearing and I have a super glossy topcoat on in the pictures above but I just can’t get enough of the colour. It took maybe 2 coats the achieve the in the bottle opaque and it’s made me consider Ciate for future polish purchases.

What a gorgeous colour! I got the ‘Purple Sherbert’ one with the magazine and it is now my favourite nail polish! I was going to choose Jellybean but I think I have a few too many pinks already haha 🙁

I agree, this is the first Ciate polish I have ever tried, I got the same colour in the magazine (been meaning to review but not had chance yet!) Its lovely and will defo buy Ciate in the future! Especially with the MC Magazine discounts, both inside the mag and on the box the polish came in!!!!
