NYX Mega Shine Gloss

I'm not usually a lip gloss girl, matte lipsticks or lip pencils are ma jam and a gloss is just messy but this NYX Mega Shine has totally won my heart. It was something sent over in my swap package from Marnie - see her blog here - and God love her she knows I love a good pink lip so it was one of I think 20 I will be showing you as and when I get around to them all but this one has made it in to my main rotation FAST. I have been wearing it almost daily (partly I think because it complements my hair) to the point where I might even say I'm a gloss convert!

It's sticky enough to last more than 5 minutes but not uncomfortably and opaque enough to be worn alone but sheer enough that a bolder liner will show through. The scent is AMAZING but if you're not in to strong smelling lip products you might hate it. It's very sweet and sherbety.. it's a toss up between bubble gum and sherbet.. I can't quite put my finger on it.. which I love but it's not going to be for everyone. The applicator is a regular doe foot and the tube is pretty standard too all but for the cute bow on the lid. I THINK Marnie sent me a couple of other glosses from NYX but even so I will definitely be on the look out for more from this particular line! I don't mind splurging on an expensive lipstick from time to time but gloss goes off to quickly so these cheaper brands are really the way to go unless you have colours you're wearing constantly. Given that I'm a bit of a noob in this area but potentially might look to broaden my shiny lipped horizons, are there are gloss ranges you would recommend?
