OPI – I Have A Herring Problem

How gorgeous is this colour? I was recently browsing I believe it was Fragrance Direct.. one of those sites anyway.. and I was drawn in to their OPI sale, they had bottle for as little as £3.99 so there I was filling my basket and cross referencing swatches on google images when I realised that at least 2 of the shades I was going to buy I already had in minis and had never worn them.. the shame! I often pick up the mini sets when the new collections come out but a lot have gone unworn and do you know what I think the problem is? They’re not named! They have names of course as they’re just miniature versions of the big bottles but the minis don’t have names written on them and I am just that shallow that the name of a polish will make me want to wear it. Hands up how many of you will reach for something called Cute As A Button over Shade 6.. exactly! It adds a little fun and when you have as much choice as I do the less interesting ones get pushed to the wayside. I am determined to get through my minis now and swatch them all but you have to start somewhere so here we are with I Have A Herring Problem. It’s a dusky blue with a light glitter running through it that gives it this starry night dimension that I love. It wore well, these pictures were taken two days in and you can see the edges are wearing but no really chipping is happening yet. The glitter while visible doesn’t make it a task to remove which is a huge thumbs up in my books as much as I love glitz I hate sitting for hours trying to get it off  but this is perfect.. So.. what would possibly have gone it’s whole life unworn is finally featured in a blog post and I actually really like it.. will definitely be worn again

This is a lovely colour. I noticed recently that MUA have started naming their products, rather than just numbering and I agree it makes a difference!

I absolutely LOVE this colour – I bought it from FD recently, it arrived a week ago and it was love at first coat – I can’t believe I’ve overlooked the three OPI minis in my collection for so long. The formula is just amazing – and this colour is perfect (and matches my husband’s eyes eerily well!)
