Phil Smith Argan Oil Transforming Cream

IMG_5703

I only have a travel size of this but a little goes a long way, I’ve been using it for a few weeks and I can’t see it running out any time soon. It reminds me of a Dark And Lovely Moisture Seal Cream I had years ago which was designed for afro hair, not quite a serum, not quite a conditioner – a day cream for your hair. I don’t believe this is going to restore any health or benefit my hair long term but I know it does wonders as a finishing product and that’s all I expected. As with any oil based styling product there is the potential to overdo it and have to go back to the wash basin so I would advise to use very little and concentrate on your dry ends.. don’t even think about putting this near your roots.. don’t even THINK about it! I would say ‘Total Treat” Is an accurate headline but I wouldn’t buy it in full size.. there are other products I prefer but this dinky tube would make  great multi-purpose hair tamer if you were going on holiday. This was a magazine freebie a little while ago but if you didn’t snag one then you will almost certainly be able to find one on eBay (always find this with mag freebies) so don’t fret.. the internet is here to help!

Available online here priced £10.99 for 100ml and as promised – current eBay listings – it is far cheaper to buy on eBay if you can!

I’ve also been using this after getting it as a freebie! I’ve got really curly frizzy hair unless I tame it with the dryer and straighteners but this is helping me to wear my natural curls more this summer! I mix a bit of this with a serum like frizz-ease then run it through towel dried hair before adding a bit of curl boosting mousse, it works really well:)
